Case: Hockey Night – Tien päällä

Kuitu has been the production partner for C More’s ice hockey magazine program Hockey Night – Tien päällä (which directly translates as Hockey Night – On the Road) since 2021. Each week we dive deep into the recent events of Liiga, the top professional ice hockey league in Finland, take a peek behind the scenes and get to know both players and coaches outside the rink – without taking ourselves too seriously. Our crew of cinematographers and camera ops tour around Finland’s ice hockey cities, after which the footage is brought to our post-production environment to be transformed into a 22-minute show worth your time. The show airs on Mondays on MTV3, Finland’s largest commercial TV channel.

This show keeps our editors and filming crew busy during the regular season, including but not exclusively Hannu Oikkonen, Markku Suoniemi, Jani-Matias “Jama” Hoikka and Vuk Valkonen.
